Total Immersion – Northern Adventure
$179.00
Take the controls and experience the excitement of flying an airplane yourself!
This isn’t just an airplane ride – it’s a real flight lesson, and absolutely no previous flying experience is necessary! In fact, this is Lesson #1 of our flight training program, should you decide to continue toward earning your pilot’s license. The route of the flight heads East to the lakeshore, North up the coast to approximately Fort Sheridan and back to Chicago Executive.
Your adventure begins when you’re paired with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor who will guide you through the same procedures real pilots perform before, during, and after every flight.
And here’s the exciting part – YOU get to fly the airplane!
During your lesson, you’ll:
- Perform a preflight inspection of the aircraft.
- Taxi the airplane to the runway.
- Communicate with the airport control tower.
- Assist with the takeoff.
- Take the controls and perform various in-flight maneuvers.
- Experience what it’s really like to be a pilot!
Your instructor will be seated right beside you, providing guidance and ensuring your safety throughout the experience. They’ll show you what to do, but you’ll be doing most of the flying!
Whether you’re considering becoming a pilot or simply looking for an unforgettable Chicago-area adventure, this hands-on flying experience is something you’ll remember for years to come.
Total Experience: Approximately 1½ hours, including 30–40 minutes of actual flight time.
